Nothing can Separate Us

It’s here. The election is Tuesday and our fears will either be realized or relieved. I have been struck by the intense fear and anxiety from both sides. The fears are real on both sides. The media and candidates have done a good job of keeping it all stirred up. We’ll vote if we fear the outcome, right? Yes, I hope we do vote.

But, on Wednesday, there is something we can put our faith in, there is something we can hope for, no matter the outcome of an election. Christ is on His throne and nothing that happened the day before can separate us from his love for us. Nothing. No one. Amen.
